As the summer comes to a close and winter draws near, its time to start prepping your RV or Motorhome for storage so that next season will start off as smoothly as possible.  Here are a few tips to help the process go easily and efficiently.

1.  Clean inside and out, as well as, chassis and engine.  Leftover dirt and debris on your vehicle can hold moisture and cause rust to form prematurely so its recommended to thoroughly clean.
2.  Drain alll water from water lines and tanks.
3.  Drain Waste water tanks.
4.  Disconnect and remove batteries.  Store in a climate controlled area and hook up to a trickle charger to keep batteries fresh.
5.  Inspect seals around doors/windows and repair.
6.  Fuel Stabilizer - add fuel stabilizer to fuel.
7.  Propane - consider removing propane tanks for storage.
8.  Cover Tires
9.  Flush RV antifreeze through system
10.  Clean out refrigerator/freezer
11.  Electrical - Turn off breaker
12.  Pest prevention - remove food and any other attractants.  Consider pest repellent options.  Seal any holes or cracks.
13.  Level vehicle and Jack Tires.
14.  Inspect and fill fluids (Brake, Coolant, Wiper)
15.  Moisture control - consider leaving a moisture absorber like Damprid inside to help absorb moisture while stored.
